Approach zones

Polestar 3 can sense the presence of an authorised driver by detecting the signal of their ultra-wideband or digital key. The car wakes up in stages as the driver approaches.

Digital Key

iPhone users can sync the Polestar Digital Key to Apple Wallet to lock, unlock, and start Polestar 3. The main driver can administer and manage secure copies of the key with others, and it connects with the car’s profile memory to store the preferred settings for up to six drivers.

Rear storage

Polestar 3 has a large rear luggage compartment, which has been designed to maximise space and versatility. Small items can be stored in a practical net on the left side panel. The storage volume behind the rear seats from floor to inner roof is 597 litres (including 90 litres available under the floor).

Foot-operated tailgate

The tailgate’s automatic soft opening and closing function can be operated by making a single kicking motion under the left side of the rear bumper. Ideal when loading or unloading heavy or bulky items and you have your hands full.

Foldable load floor

The cargo floor can fold up to create a foldable holder that supports grocery bags, either standing or hanging from hooks. Not available with Pilot Pack with LiDAR.

Available as an upgrade.

Loading mode

Besides enhancing comfort and handling, the active air suspension on dual motor variants reduces the effort of loading and unloading. A button inside the rear luggage compartment lowers the back of the car by 40 millimetres, making lifting goods easier.

Front storage

Polestar 3 has a useful 32 litres of additional storage space under the bonnet. The compartment also keeps the car’s warning triangle and charging cables within reach.

Automatic folding towbar

Press the button in the rear luggage compartment and the automatic towbar extends, allowing Polestar 3 to pull up to 2,200 kg. The towbar comes equipped with the “FIX4BIKE®” system for mounting a bike rack and Trailer Stability Assist to help stabilise a swaying trailer.
