Using Guidance Light
Some of the exterior lights may remain on after the vehicle is locked in order to illuminate the area around the vehicle. This is called Guidance Light.
Approach lighting
To activate home safe lighting:
Activate the parking brake.
Push the left-side steering wheel lever toward the dashboard and release.
Exit the vehicle and lock the doors.
The 
symbol illuminates in the instrument panel to indicate that the function is activated and the exterior lighting switches on: Parking lights, headlights, license plate lighting and door handle lighting.
