LED technology has opened up new possibilities for creating a unique visual language. The origami-inspired headlights and futuristic light-blade are immediately identifiable as features of a Polestar. An unmistakable design, especially at night.

Dazzle without dazzling. Polestar 2’s headlights feature an active high beam function, using camera sensors in the windshield to monitor for headlights of approaching vehicles, or taillights of cars directly ahead. Once detected, Polestar 2’s headlights automatically switch from high beam to low beam.

Pairing a futuristic shape to forward-thinking technology, the rear light-blade’s 288 LEDs can turn on and off individually to regulate the intensity. The LEDs shine brighter on sunny days to improve visibility. When it’s dark the lights dim to save power.
