Polestar 2 is Norway's Car of the Year

It’s important to listen to the experts. Not to invalidate the opinions of others, but experts, by definition, know what they’re talking about.

I left wishing this was the car I got to drive every day.

And though Norway in general could be considered a nation of EV experts, (in fact, the Norwegian public has already awarded Polestar 2 the People’s Choice award), it’s of interest to hear what a panel of experts would think.

As it turns out, they share the same mindset. Polestar 2 has just received Norway’s Car of the Year award. Held by Norwegian publication Dagbladet in conjunction with the above award, the jury consists of journalists and EV association members. In other words, experts.  “The switch to all electric is hard, it’s happening fast, and I feel that all these delightful fuel cars with roaring engines that we petrol heads love are disappearing,” muses jury member and automotive journalist Rune Nesheim, “but this is somehow not relevant when I got into the Polestar 2. From the second I got in I was enjoying myself, and I left wishing this was the car I got to drive every day.”

We’d like to thank the Car of the Year panel for the award. And, of course, for sharing their expertise.
