Designer Manish Konda took the classic American hot-rod and distilled it to its purest form, a very Polestar approach, for a design that truly works at the 1:64 model scale that the brief asks for. This is, first and foremost, a toy-like Hot Wheels car design.
H₂Hotrod consists of four core elements: a central fuselage with a cut-out showing the mechanics, exposed wheels and tyres, a chopped roof canopy in punchy yellow, and a Polestar-emblazoned black rear spoiler, all with slightly exaggerated proportions in true Hot Wheels fashion. Setting off these main elements are some Polestar lights, small yet bold details at the front and rear, and some graphics on the flanks that add to its distinctive, playful expression.
