Key fob
You can use your key fob the same way you would use a key card by placing it on the key reading location on the driver's door pillar.
The key fob can also work at a distance to lock, unlock and start the car.
If the car does not detect a key fob, you will see a notification in the display. The reason for this might be that the battery is completely flat. If the car does not detect your key fob when you are in the car, then the car won't lock when you leave.

Note
You can replace the key fob battery. The fob uses a CR2450 battery.
Be aware that the signals between the key and the car can be affected by obstacles or interference from other signals.
Remember that even if the key fob has a flat battery, it can still be used as a key card.
If you lose a key fob or it gets damaged, contact a Polestar Authorised Service Point for a replacement.
