Steering wheel buttons for the cruise control functions

The cruise control functions can be controlled using the left-hand steering wheel keypad. This is applicable to the speed limiter (SL1), automatic speed limiter (ASL2), cruise control (CC3), adaptive cruise control* (ACC4) and Pilot Assist*.

PS-Icon circle 1PS-1926-Steering wheel Activate button symbol: From standby mode – Activates the selected function and stores the current speed.PS-1926-Steering wheel Activate button symbol: From active mode – Sets the function to standby mode.

PS-Icon circle 4PS2-2007-Steering wheel left buttons, left arrow: When the speed limiter is selected/active, the automatic speed limiter can be selected too.
PS-Icon circle 5PS2-2007-Steering wheel left buttons, right arrow: When adaptive cruise control is selected/active, Pilot Assist can be selected too.
PS-Icon circle 6PS2-2007-Steering wheel left buttons, reduce distance: Reduces the time interval to vehicles ahead.
PS-Icon circle 7PS2-2007-Steering wheel left buttons, add distance: Increases the time interval to vehicles ahead.

 Warning

  • The function is supplementary driver support intended to facilitate driving and make it safer – it cannot handle all situations in all traffic, weather and road conditions.
  • The driver is advised to read all sections in the Manual that relate to this function to learn about factors such as its limitations and what the driver should be aware of before using the system.
  • Driver support functions are not a substitute for the driver's attention and judgement. The driver is always responsible for ensuring the car is driven in a safe manner, at the appropriate speed, with an appropriate distance to other vehicles, and in accordance with current traffic rules and regulations.
