Parking on a hill
Always make sure that the parking brake has been activated when parking on a hill.
If the car is parked facing uphill:
- Turn the wheels away from the kerb.
If the car is parked facing downhill:
- Turn the wheels towards the kerb.
Warning
Avoid parking on a hill in winter road conditions as there would be a risk of the car sliding.
