Rear fog lamp

The rear fog lamp is considerably stronger than a normal rear light and should only be used in reduced visibility due to fog, snow, smoke or dust so that other road users have an early warning of a vehicle ahead.

The rear fog lamp can only be switched on when
  • the car is in drive mode and the stalk switch's rotating ring is in PS-1926-Left-side steering wheel lever-AUTO symbol or PS-1926-Left-side steering wheel lever-Low beam symbol position
  • the car is in drive mode and the stalk switch's rotating ring is in PS-1926-Left-side steering wheel lever-Position light symbol position and the front fog lamps are switched on.

Press the button to switch the lights on/off. The PS-1926- Rear fog light activated symbol in driver display symbol in the driver display illuminates when the rear fog lamp is switched on.

The rear fog lamp is switched off automatically when
  • the steering wheel stalk switch's rotating ring is in position PS-1926-Left-side steering wheel lever-Zero symbol
  • the car is switched off
  • the stalk switch's rotating ring is in position PS-1926-Left-side steering wheel lever-Position light symbol and the front fog lamps are switched off.
