Polestar 2 – Informatie over stoffen op de kandidaatslijst (CL) conform de REACH-verordening, artikel 33.1
Volgens artikel 33.1 van de REACH-verordening (verordening (EG) nr. 1907/2006)1 dienen professionele klanten te worden geïnformeerd over de aanwezigheid van zeer zorgwekkende stoffen (SVHC2) in door Polestar Performance AB geleverde producten. Het doel is om het veilig hanteren van de betreffende componenten mogelijk te maken om op die manier mens en milieu te beschermen.
Polestar Performance AB staat in algemene zin achter de doelstelling van de REACH-verordening. Dat geldt in het bijzonder voor artikel 33, dat aansluit op onze belofte gericht op het verantwoord produceren, beheren en gebruiken van onze producten.
Het gehalte aan stoffen op de kandidaatslijst
De artikelen in de onderstaande "Tabel met stoffen op de kandidaatslijst" bevatten stoffen die met meer dan 0,1 gewichtsprocent vermeld staan op de kandidaatslijst (CL) voor de desbetreffende auto. De informatie over stoffen op de kandidaatslijst (CL) is gebaseerd op informatie van onze leveranciers en onze eigen productgegevens.
Algemene informatie voor een veilig gebruik van voorwerpen
Iedere auto van Polestar Performance AB is voorzien van een gebruikershandleiding met daarin informatie over een veilig gebruik voor de eigenaar/bestuurder/gebruiker van de auto. In de informatie van Polestar Performance AB over reparatie en service aan auto's en originele onderdelen is ook informatie opgenomen over een veilig gebruik voor servicepersoneel.
De stoffen die zijn vermeld in de toepasselijke "Tabel met stoffen op de kandidaatslijst" en die voorkomen in onderdelen van de desbetreffende auto zijn zodanig ingebouwd dat een mogelijke blootstelling voor klanten en gevaren voor de mens of het milieu tot een minimum kunnen worden beperkt zolang de auto en de onderdelen daarvan worden gebruikt op de beoogde wijze en zolang reparaties, service en onderhoud worden uitgevoerd volgens de technische instructies voor deze activiteiten en volgens de good practices binnen de branche.
Een afgedankte auto mag alleen op wettelijk toegestane wijze als afval worden verwerkt binnen de EU door een erkende afvalverwerkingsinstallatie (ATF). De afvalverwerking van auto-onderdelen moet voldoen aan de plaatselijke wetgeving en instructies van de lokale autoriteiten.
Wij wijzen erop dat bijna alle productgebieden lood bevatten (CAS No 7439-92-1), primair als legeringselement in staal, aluminium en koper.
