Type designations

The decals in the car contain information such as chassis number, type designation, colour code, etc.

Knowing the car's type designation and vehicle identification number can facilitate all contact with Polestar Customer Support regarding the car and when ordering spare parts and accessories.

PS2-2222-Product decal, not China_Russia_Saudi Arabia

PS-Icon circle 1 Decal for type designation, vehicle identification number, permissible maximum weights and code designation for exterior colour and date of manufacture. The decal is positioned on the door pillar, and will be visible when the right-hand door is opened.

Specific information for Australia: The vehicle build date is printed on a label affixed to the B-pillar on the vehicle. The build date is the calendar month and year in which the body and powertrain assemblies were conjoined and the vehicle was driven from the production line.

PS2-2007-Decal air conditioning R1234yf

PS-Icon circle 2 Decal for A/C system for cars with refrigerant R1234yf. The decal is placed on the underside of the bonnet.

PS2-2007-Decal vehicle identification number

PS-Icon circle 3 Decal for the car's identification number - VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). The decal is located on the top left-hand part of the instrument panel and is visible through the windscreen.
