Polestar cars use the standard EU, type 2 connector and CCS, which is compatible with Ionity, as well as stations from Fastned, MFG EV Power, Sainsbury's Smart Charge, InstaVolt and Applegreen Electric, and over 600 other providers.
Drivers who plan to cover long distances can choose a subscription package with exclusive charging discounts on the top six providers. You’ll notice the savings after just one full charge and you can cancel any time.

It’s now possible to initiate and pay for charging simply by connecting your vehicle to compatible charging stations. These are highlighted in Google Maps and searchable in the Polestar Charge app.
Plug & Charge uses a secure connection between car and charger for instant authentication and payment. There’s no need to open an app or swipe a card.
