Polestar Connect subscription
Status of subscription
The status of your subscription is shown in the Polestar 1 app under Vehicle information in the Car tab. The subscription can also be extended from here.
If you do not have access to the Polestar 1 app, contact Polestar Customer Support, they will help you to find information on the expiry date of the subscription. You then need to provide the car’s vehicle identification number1.
Message to indicate that your subscription will soon be expiring
45 days before your Polestar Connect subscription is set to expire, the message Polestar Connect subscription expires soon will be shown in the car's display. If you are using the Android or iOS version of the Polestar 1 app, you will also receive reminders in the app.
Deactivated subscription
When the subscription period has expired, you will be alerted via a message in the car's display showing the text Polestar Connect subscription has expired. This message disappears when the subscription is reactivated.
You will not be able to use the Polestar Connect services or the Polestar 1 app when your subscription has expired. Though, the emergency services via the SOS button and automatic collision alert will continue to function. To use Polestar Connect again, you will need to renew your subscription.
Roadside assistance costs
Roadside assistance costs are included for the first 3 years when you buy a new Polestar. After this time, free roadside assistance is offered in most markets if the car is serviced regularly. Polestar Customer Support can inform you of the status of your roadside assistance agreement.
Polestar Connect can help you get back on the road, even if your Roadside Assistance agreement has expired. In this case, you will be asked to pay the cost for the service that is sent out to you.
