For the parts of the body that are made of metal, the corrosion protection is made up of metallic protective coatings, a high quality painting process and abrasion resistance. In the chassis, exposed components of the wheel suspension are made of corrosion-resistant cast aluminium.

Inspection and maintenance

The car's corrosion protection does not normally need to be maintained. Strong alkaline or acidic cleaning solutions must be avoided on glossy trim components.
