The Distance Warning function can assist the driver to notice that the time interval to the vehicle ahead may be too short.

Activating or deactivating distance warning

The distance warning function, which displays information on the windscreen using a head-up display, can be disabled.

Limitations of Distance Warning

The distance warning function may have limitations in certain situations. The function is only available in cars that can show information on the windscreen with a head-up display.

Set time interval to vehicle ahead

It is possible to set the time interval to the vehicle ahead to be maintained by the adaptive cruise control, Pilot Assist and Distance Warning functions.

Warning from driver support in the event of a collision risk

The driver support systems of adaptive cruise control and Pilot Assist can warn the driver if the distance to the vehicle ahead suddenly becomes too short.
