Deactivating adaptive cruise control*1
The adaptive cruise control (ACC2) can be deactivated and switched off.

Press the steering wheel button
(2).

The symbol and indicators are extinguished – the adaptive cruise control is set in standby mode. The indicator for time interval and symbol for target vehicle, if activated, are also switched off.
Press the steering wheel button ◀ (1) or ▶ (3) to change to another function.
The driver display's symbol and indicator for adaptive cruise control (4) are switched off – which deletes the set/stored maximum speed.
Warning
- With the adaptive cruise control is in standby mode, the driver must intervene and regulate both speed and distance to the vehicle ahead.
- When the adaptive cruise control is in standby mode and the car comes too close to a vehicle ahead, the driver may be warned of the short distance by the Distance Warning* function instead.
