Starting the car using Digital Key
Digital Key can be used to start the car. Just having your phone with you in the passenger compartment will suffice.
Ensure that Bluetooth is activated on your phone.
Start the Digital Key app.
Ensure that keyless starting is calibrated and activated in the app's settings.
Ensure that Enable start is activated.
The car can now be started using the start knob.
Note
If it is not possible to start the car with Digital Key:
- Try tapping on Enable start in the app and turning the start knob.
- Check that the phone is not blocked in a sturdy bag, for example.
- Check that the Digital Key app is not shut down due to battery saving settings in the phone. Contact the phone supplier if you need assistance.
- Check that there is an active digital key in the app.
- Check that the Digital Key app is updated to the latest version in App settings. Also check whether the app wants to update the software in the car. Update the software if an update is available.
- Recalibrate the Digital Key app in the app's settings.
- Check that Bluetooth is enabled. If the Bluetooth connection is not working, try deleting the information stored in the phone (cache memory). Contact the phone supplier if you need assistance.
- Try restarting the app.
