Starting the vehicle using Digital Key

Digital Key can be used to start the vehicle. The phone just needs to be in the passenger compartment.
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled in your phone.
Start the Digital Key app.
Make sure that keyless start is calibrated and enabled in the app's settings.
Make sure that Enable start is activated.
The vehicle can now be started using the start knob.

 Note

If it is not possible to start the vehicle with Digital Key:
  • Try tapping Enable start in the app and turning the start knob.
  • Check that the phone is not blocked in e.g. a thick bag.
  • Make sure that the Digital Key app is not shutting down due to battery-saving settings in your phone. Contact your phone service supplier if you need assistance.
  • Make sure that there is an active digital key in the app.
  • Make sure that the Digital Key app is updated to the latest version by going to app settings. Also check if the app wants to update the vehicle's software. Update software if new software is available.
  • Recalibrate the Digital Key app in the app's settings.
  • Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled. If the Bluetooth connection isn't working, try deleting your phone's stored information (clearing your cache memory). Contact your phone service supplier if you need assistance.
  • Try to restart the app.
