Locking and unlocking the vehicle using the Polestar 1 app

The Polestar 1 app shows the current lock status and you can lock and unlock the vehicle remotely.

Lock the vehicle

Go to the home tab.

Select Doors and locks. The current lock status of the vehicle can be viewed here.

Select Lock.

The vehicle's doors are locked.

When you lock the vehicle, the anti-theft alarm is armed. Note that for safety reasons the vehicle can still be opened from the inside.

Go to the home tab.

Select Doors and locks. The current lock status of the vehicle can be viewed here.

Select Unlock.

Enter your Polestar ID password. This is the same password that used to log in to the Polestar 1 app.

After confirming in the Polestar 1 app, press the door handle to unlock the vehicle.

Now the vehicle's doors can be opened.

You can choose to receive push notifications about the vehicle's lock status from the Polestar 1 app.
