Driving journal with the Polestar 1 app
The Polestar 1 app can automatically create a drive log which allows you to view a summary of your vehicle journeys. The data is visible from all the accounts connected to the vehicle.
Registration of trip information
The trip information is sent to the Polestar 1 app 30-60 seconds after the vehicle key has been removed. If you restart the engine within this time to continue driving, the journey that was in progress before the engine was switched off continues. In case of longer stops, e.g. refueling at a fuel station, two trips will be logged. You have the possibility to merge multiple trips into one via the app.
The travel information can be downloaded and saved in Excel, a useful function if, for example, you have a company car.
Viewing driving journal
The Polestar 1 app stores information about the trips you have made in your vehicle over the last 100 days. To view a summary of your trips:
Go to the Vehicle tab.
Select Driving journal.
Select the trip you want more information about.
The following information about the selected trip appears in the app:
- Title
- Category
- Note
- Route (with start and stop positions)
- Time
- Distance
- Fuel consumption
- Electricity consumption
- Electrical regeneration
- Started (time when journey was started)
- Finished (time when journey was finished)
- Odometer reading
