Polestar service program

To keep the vehicle as safe and reliable as possible, follow the Polestar service program specified in the Status and Warranty booklet in the vehicle's glove compartment.

 Warning

California Proposition 65

Operating, servicing and maintaining a passenger vehicle or off-highway motor vehicle can expose you to chemicals, including engine exhaust, carbon monoxide, phthalates, and lead, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. To minimize exposure, avoid breathing exhaust, do not idle the engine except as necessary, service your vehicle in a well-ventilated area and wear gloves or wash your hands frequently when servicing your vehicle. For more information, go to www.p65warnings.ca.gov/products/passenger-vehicle.

Certain components of this vehicle, such as airbag modules and seat belt tensioners, may contain perchlorate material. Special handling may be required for service or vehicle end-of-life disposal. See https://dtsc.ca.gov/perchlorate/.

Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories contain lead and lead compounds. Wash hands after handling.

Contact a Polestar-authorized workshop for service and maintenance. These workshops have personnel with the right competence, service literature and special tools to provide the highest quality of service.

 Important

To ensure Polestar's warranty is not invalidated, check and follow the information provided in the Status and Warranty booklet.

Service and repairs

Service the vehicle regularly. Follow Polestar's recommended service intervals.

If inspection and repair are required, then only an authorized workshop designated by Polestar may carry out the work.

 Warning

Do not perform any repairs on the vehicle yourself. Electrical cables and/or components that have come loose may only be corrected by an authorized workshop.
