Operating the driving lights
Familiarize yourself with operating the available lights via the left-hand steering wheel stalk.
You can control some primary lighting mode behaviors using the left-hand steering wheel stalk.
You can move the left-hand stalk forward or backward to switch between different lighting selections. The stalk always springs back to the neutral position.
The selections available are:
- Automatic high beam
- Manual high beam
- High beam flash
The default lights setting is automatic1.
When automatic lights mode1 is selected in the center display:
Push the left-hand stalk twice to switch between manual high beam and automatic high beam.
When passing beam is manually selected in the center display:
Push the left-hand stalk to turn manual high beam on or off.
High beam flash:
Pull the left-hand stalk towards you to activate the high beam flash.
The lights settings reset to their default values between drives.
Important
Make sure that the vehicle cameras are well-maintained and kept clean. If the camera views are obscured by dirt, they will not be able to obtain enough information to properly direct the vehicle’s lighting responses.
