Procedure to temporarily change the automatic high beam sensitivity
You can set an alternative automatic high beam sensitivity in accordance with FMVSS108 requirements.
Important
The vehicle must be stationary to change the sensitivity. Keep the brake pedal pressed down throughout the procedure.
Put the vehicle in drive by selecting Dwith the right-hand steering wheel stalk.
Press the vehicle symbol
in the bottom bar and go to Exterior.

Make sure that the default automatic lights mode1 is selected.
The following steps must be completed within 30 seconds:
Press the low beam symbol
.

Activate the high beam flash with a short pull on the left-hand steering wheel stalk.
Select automatic lights mode1 again.
Activate the high beam flash again with a short pull on the left-hand steering wheel stalk.
Press the passing beam symbol
again.

Activate the high beam flash once more with a short pull on the left-hand steering wheel stalk.
Select automatic lights mode1.
Note
The sensitivity returns to the default setting when you start a new drive cycle.
