As we never tire of saying, the Polestar 1 was highly anticipated. A select few had been given the opportunity to experience our electric performance hybrid. They were limited to our proving ground situated in Hällered, a quiet spot in western Sweden, far from prying eyes. But how to introduce Polestar 1 to the world, and give those other would-be drivers a few minutes behind the wheel?
The answer came in the form of test drive events, arranged in different parts of the world: the postcard-perfect northern California coast, the storied avenues of Florence, and the mountain roads of Chengdu, each location serving as a nexus for local journalists to take our electric performance hybrid for a spin.
