Paintwork

The paintwork consists of multiple layers. It is an important part of the vehicle's surface protection and therefore needs to be checked regularly.

The most common types of paint damage are minor stone chips, scratches and damage to e.g. the edges of fenders, doors and bumpers. To help prevent further damage to the paintwork, damage should be rectified immediately.

Depending on version, the Polestar Engineered BST edition 270 and Polestar Engineered BST edition 230 variant may have components with a foil finish that require more careful handling than parts with a painted finish. Pay attention to the specific advice in the manual regarding this variant.
