Google Assistant

If you are using Google Assistant (e.g. Google Home speakers, Android phones or iOS devices with the Google Assistant app), you can use your voice to control some of the functions in the Polestar 1 app.

Amazon Alexa

If you have an Amazon Echo speaker, you can use your voice with Alexa to control some of the functions in the Polestar 1 app.

Siri

On iOS devices, the Polestar 1 app supports Siri. With Siri, you can control some of the functions in the Polestar 1 app by using your voice.

Widgets

If you are using the Polestar 1 app on an Android or iOS device, you can add Widgets (shortcuts) for faster access to functions such as heater remote start and view fuel level.

3D Touch

Using 3D Touch you have access to shortcuts for some functions in the Polestar 1 app1.

Press firmly on the app icon on your phone to access, among other things, shortcuts to the following functions:

Flic

Flic is a button-like accessory which uses Bluetooth to connect to your smartphone and the Polestar 1 app. You can then use the Flic button to control functions in the car, such as starting/stopping the remotely controlled heater, sounding the horn or flashing the direction indicators, and locking the car.

The required functions via Flic are set in the Polestar 1 app.

For Flic to work, you need a smart device with Bluetooth, and the Flic app has to be installed as well. The Flic button has to be paired with your smart device and be set to send commands to the Polestar 1 app.
